Conversations Circle Aims To Share Insight On Value Of Civility
The Round Rock Public Library hosts its monthly community meetings to tackle thought-provoking, topical, and weighty questions of today.
ROUND ROCK, TX—The Round Rock Public Library invite residents to their virtual monthly get together, Conversations Circle, to tackle thought-provoking, topical, and weighty questions of today with an eye on civil discourse, sharing factual information, and expressing a point of view with your peers. Rather than debating or convincing other, you're asked to take turns talking to share and learn.
Scheduled Saturday, March 27 at 3:30 p.m., you'll join others for a discussion on Civility, and why it's important to practice civility for yourself and your community. The event's moderator will lead the group through questions such as:
- Do you feel civility is missing in our general public and online discourse?
- How do you maintain a civil tone in the virtual world?
- What is Netiquette?
- Do you have examples to share to inspire a more civil environment?
- Why or Why Not: Is CIVILITY important to you and your community?
