🌱 Driver Of Stolen Vehicle Faces Murder Charge + WC Employee Arrested

Here are the top four stories today in Round Rock:

1. 25-year-old Leandro Brito-Martinez, the driver of the stolen vehicle involved in the car crash that killed a 14-year-old pedestrian, was arrested. Brito-Martinez faces a murder charge and is accused of driving the stolen car. He was fleeing police and drove through a red light, causing the fatal car crash. His bond is $1 million. (KXAN)
2. A Williamson County Juvenile supervisor was arrested after a 17-year-old inmate accused him of touching them inappropriately. 31-year-old Daniel Perez allegedly committed the offense of sexual performance by a child and improper sexual activity with a person in custody or under supervision. Perez was employed at the Williamson County Juvenile Justice Complex at the time of the offense. (CBS Austin)
3. On Aug. 15, Via 313 Pizza will open its Round Rock location at 2111 N. I-35, Ste. 380. The Restaurant specializes in Detroit-style pizza. The new restaurant will occupy a shared building with Tumble 22 Nashville Hot Chicken in the Rock Creek Plaza shopping center. (Community Impact Newspaper)
4. Yesterday, Aug. 2, Round Rock Express began a six-game series against the Sugar Land Space Cowboys. All the games will be played at Constellation Field. Fans can purchase their tickets online. (CW39 Houston)
