🌱 Driver Of Stolen Vehicle Faces Murder Charge + WC Employee Arrested

Here are the top four stories today in Round Rock:
- 25-year-old Leandro Brito-Martinez, the driver of the stolen vehicle involved in the car crash that killed a 14-year-old pedestrian, was arrested. Brito-Martinez faces a murder charge and is accused of driving the stolen car. He was fleeing police and drove through a red light, causing the fatal car crash. His bond is $1 million. (KXAN)
- A Williamson County Juvenile supervisor was arrested after a 17-year-old inmate accused him of touching them inappropriately. 31-year-old Daniel Perez allegedly committed the offense of sexual performance by a child and improper sexual activity with a person in custody or under supervision. Perez was employed at the Williamson County Juvenile Justice Complex at the time of the offense. (CBS Austin)
- On Aug. 15, Via 313 Pizza will open its Round Rock location at 2111 N. I-35, Ste. 380. The Restaurant specializes in Detroit-style pizza. The new restaurant will occupy a shared building with Tumble 22 Nashville Hot Chicken in the Rock Creek Plaza shopping center. (Community Impact Newspaper)
- Yesterday, Aug. 2, Round Rock Express began a six-game series against the Sugar Land Space Cowboys. All the games will be played at Constellation Field. Fans can purchase their tickets online. (CW39 Houston)
