- The Brazos River Authority (BRA) implemented Stage 1- Drought Watch for Lake Georgetown and Stillhouse Hollow Lake on Mar. 18, 2022. These lakes are the primary water source for the City of Round Rock. The City suggests residents do not water lawns or landscapes from noon to 7:00 p.m., reduce irrigation system run times, follow the watering schedule, check for leaks in and around your home, reduce water usage, and use water wisely. These steps will help ensure adequate water supply during the summer months. (City of Round Rock)
- Joseph McCullough, a man who has been vocal at Round Rock Independent School District (RRISD) board meetings, filed a civil lawsuit against board member Trustee Danielle Weston. The lawsuit claims Weston walked out of a board meeting and allegedly forwarded confidential information to some of her supporters. The lawsuit asks the 425th District Court to suspend Weston from the board until the court rules and ultimately remove her from the board. Weston said, "The truth will prevail. Children rely on powerful adults to ensure a bright future awaits them. I’m not going anywhere." (KXAN)

Growing your nest egg with art isn’t new. Wealthy families like the Rockefellers have done it for centuries.
