- Round Rock first responders helped deliver a wholesome, family moment to a local family. The fire department assisted with the delivery of a baby boy after "receiving a call about a woman going into labor." The mother gave birth about 10 minutes after the crew arrived! (KXAN)
- A local veteran got a huge surprise at the Circuit of The Americas race track. Dragos Carstea thought he was at the track to just snap photos, but instead raced around the track with Shehan Chandrasoma in a Lamborghini. “It was more like a dream,” Carstea said. “Growing up I wanted to become a car designer.” This was an exciting day for Carstea while he navigates his new life, post-active military. (KXAN)
- Mayor Craig Morgan delivered positive news at the State of the City on Dec. 6. "Overall, Morgan reported that the state of Round Rock continues to stay strong, thanks to strategic planning for funding of core services." Even through the tough times the city had in the past couple of years, he said that because of its financial soundness, the city is able to move forward with preparedness strategies, improvements to transportation and adapting to rapid growth.
