Here are the top three stories today in Round Rock:

  1. Yesterday, Jun. 28, a lane was closed on Northbound I-35 due to a crash involving four vehicles. According to Round Rock police, the crash was near Old Settlers Boulevard. Drivers were told to expect delays throughout the day and avoid the area. (FOX 7 Austin)
  2. On Jul. 20 and Jul. 21, Round Rock ISD will host several information sessions for school board candidacy. Interested residents can attend and learn more about running for a seat on the board of trustees in November 2022. To learn the information sessions' times and dates, check out the link.   3. As of yesterday, Jun. 28, at 6:00 p.m. Round Rock, Georgetown, and Austin Fire Departments were helping with recovery operations at a construction site near the Interstate 35 frontage road around exit 275. A trench collapsed at the site in Jarrell and two men are presumed dead after getting trapped. (KXAN)
