  1. Senior Access, a non-profit that provides transportation to older adults in the Round Rock area, is having trouble keeping up with the high gas prices. Senior Access executive director Serita Lacasse said, "Our prices per month have almost doubled, each month it goes up...now we're over $2,000 per month in gas prices." Senior Access' July "Fuel Our Vans" campaign to raise money for gas might be extended to August. (Fox 7 Austin)
  2. According to the new 2022 Cook Partisan Voter Index and analysis from Cook Political Report's Dave Wasserman, the 31st Congressional District will be nine points more Republican after the redistricting. The 31st Congressional District stretches from Round Rock to Temple. (AXIOS Austin)
  3. According to search data from moveBuddha, a national moving company, Round Rock's inbound search ratio decreased nearly 104 percent over the past year. Potential movers have stopped searching for homes in Round Rock, according to the data. Eight of the 20 Texas cities with the highest in-to-out ratios were around the Dallas-Fort Worth metro area.
