- A vehicle crashed into Gino's Italian Restaurant on Saturday. The driver was not suspected to be intoxicated at the time of the incident, and is cooperating with authorities. Two people were sent to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries and reported minor injuries. Among the injured was a server who is a mother of five; she suffered a broken leg and also required stitches. The restaurant owners are accepting gift card donations in support of their injured staff member. The restaurant will reportedly reopen today. (KXAN)
- Round Rock Police and SWAT were called to an apartment complex on the 1500 block of South IH-35 on Saturday. An individual was barricaded and later, safely taken into custody. Authorities say this incident was isolated and posed no danger to the public. (KXAN)
- On Friday, Round Rock Police Department and Bastrop County Sheriff's Office received concerns from AT&T customers saying that they could not make calls on the provider's non-emergency lines. 911 call services remained working, however, and in Round Rock, the problem was soon resolved. (Fox 7)
