Groundbreaking For CR 110 Middle In Williamson County Scheduled

Project expected to be completed in spring 2020 will upgrade the existing two-lane roadway to a three-lane roadway.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TEXAS — County officials have scheduled a groundbreaking ceremony next week for CR 110 Middle from north of Limmer Loop to CR 107.

The event was to be spotlighted via the grand opening on Wednesday, March 6, at 1:30 p.m. before officials canceled the groundbreaking ceremony due to cold weather. The new date and time for the ceremony is now Friday, March 15, at 10 a.m.

But the postponement doesn't deter from transportation officials' excitement they described in glowing terms, highlighting the ease of congestion it will bring once completed. The project will upgrade the existing two-lane roadway to a three-lane roadway. The project was designed by Kimley-Horn, and James Construction is the contractor, officials explained.
