- According to Round Rock Police Department, reports of shots fired occurred at 6:25 p.m. in the 400 block of Teravista Parkway. No injuries or danger to the public are known at this time, as the subject was detained. Check back for updates on this incident at Round Rock Police Twitter.
- Reminiscent of 2021's Texas blizzard that blanketed the entire state, this recent winter storm left approximately 380,000 Texans without power. In Round Rock and Austin, nearly 160,000 residents without power are reported and can possibly expect repairs to be completed by this evening. - Round Rock ISD is offering curbside breakfast and lunch today for the entire community, regardless of age or residence, at the following Round Rock and Austin schools: Bluebonnet Elementary, Hernandez Middle School, Pearson Ranch Middle School and Anderson Mill Elementary School.
