- Did you know there's plenty of free holiday fare, right here in our own city? Round Rock is hosting festive lights as well as a ton of "live music in various locations in Downtown Round Rock Tuesdays to Saturdays from November 30 to December 23, 2022!" - This shouldn't come as a shock, if you've been here as long as me, but "I-35 also had the most severe truck freight congestion for the second year in a row." In our little city alone, we have about "10 of the 100 most congested roads in all of Texas." (KEYE TV CBS Austin)
- Flooding at 200 E. Old Bowman Road on Saturday made the road unsafe and it was temporarily closed off. Round Rock Police has now informed us that this road is back open for use. (KEYE TV CBS Austin)
- Round Rock ISD is showing appreciation not just for teachers, but all of its staff, by partnering with local businesses to provide discounts for the district's valued employees. Head to Round Rock ISD to check out the requirements for businesses interested in joining this program.
