  1. Celebrate the Juneteenth holiday in Round Rock. The city has events taking place through Jun. 19, including the Round Rock Juneteenth Festival, Storytelling with Decee Cornish, Movie Night, Take & Make Tea Cakes, Poetry in Motion, and Pieces of my Story. (City of Round Rock)
  2. A pedestrian was fatally struck by a vehicle on Interstate 35 on Jun. 14. The accident occurred near Grand Avenue Parkway in Round Rock shortly before 6:00 a.m. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene and the crash remains under investigation at this time. (The Benton Law Firm)
  3. A gun violence prevention town hall was held in Round Rock on Jun. 14, following the mass school shooting in Uvalde. Questions were asked relating to gun purchases, mental health, and active shooter drills in schools. About 40 community members were in attendance. (KEYE TV CBS Austin)
