🌱 Suspect Hospitalized After RR Police Shootout + New Robot Dentist?

Here are the top three stories in Round Rock today:
- On Wednesday, 41-year-old Brandon Luis Marshall was hospitalized in critical condition after a shootout in Round Rock with Austin police officers and a trooper from the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS). Marshall, who had multiple felony warrants including some weapons-related charges, was under surveillance by the Austin Police Department (APD) and DPS. When APD and DPS tried to bring Marshall into custody, there was a shootout. As of Thursday night, Marshall is still in the hospital and the Texas Rangers are leading the investigation into the shooting. (KVUE)
- Round Rock Periodontist Dr. Ali Arastu is using the YOMI Robotic Dental System, the first and only FDA approved dental robot for implant dentistry. Dr. Arastu said the technology, "makes my life easier, it’s a lot less stress mentally to make sure I’m doing it the right way or making sure I’m not hitting a nerve." (KEYE TV CBS Austin)
- Misaki Ramen is now open at 3001 Joe DiMaggio Boulevard, Suite 1200 in Round Rock. The restaurant serves ramen, boba tea, and fresh teas. (Community Impact)
