Here are the top three stories in Round Rock today:

  1. In the tornado a few weeks ago, Round Rock residents Scott and Sally Amburgey's food truck was totaled. Ambur Fire, their food truck business, had to close down for about two weeks due to the tornado damage. Someone lent Scott and Sally a trailer to continue their business while waiting for their new trailer. Insurance only covered part of the trailer, so Scott and Sally are working to recover their losses. The community has shown love and support, and their business is reportedly doing well despite the circumstances. (KVUE)
  2. The opening of Hoots Wings, at 2200 E. Palm Valley Boulevard Suite 125 in Round Rock, has been delayed. The Hooters spinoff franchise has not announced a new opening date yet. The fast-casual restaurant will offer dine-in, takeout, an outdoor patio, and delivery. (Community Impact Newspaper)
