  1. Williamson County started a new contract with a commercial tree care company to continue removing storm debris. "The work is beginning at Twin Lakes Park and will continue eastward on the Brushy Creek Regional Trail towards Cedar Park and Round Rock, the county said." Cleanups will typically occur Mondays-Fridays from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. Closures of portions of parks and trails may be made to keep the public safe. Read more at News Radio KLBJ.

"Brandon Vezmar, 37, of Austin, filed the claim against his date seeking $17.31, the price of a 3D movie ticket to 'Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 2.'" Vezmar accused his date of profusely texting on her phone and ruining his movie-watching experience as well as leaving him stranded at the theater. The woman had her own side of the story but ultimately, she paid the $17.31 and Vezmar dropped the lawsuit. See all the details at NewsBreak Original.
