Here are the top three stories in Round Rock today:
- On Sunday, volunteers with Ascension Leadership Academy painted a new mural in downtown Round Rock to raise awareness of sexual assault. The mural was created on behalf of Hope Alliance, a Williamson County nonprofit that supports survivors of domestic violence and abuse. The group of volunteers painted the mural on the wall of Supernova Tattoo, a downtown spot with high visibility and plenty of foot traffic. (KVUE.com)
- The United States Postal Service (USPS) is looking to fill positions in the Austin-Round Rock-Georgetown area. USPS held its first job fair yesterday at the Round Rock main post office, with another scheduled for this Thursday, Apr. 28 at the Holiday Inn Austin Town Lake. Applicants must be 18 years or older, as well as pass a drug screening and a criminal background check. More information on open positions and pay can be found at the link. (KXAN.com)
