  1. Round Rock ISD is partnering with Texas State University to present students with a STEM-For-All project. “'I am excited to use NASA’s Artemis Missions to get and keep my students interested in space science now and in the future,' said Joseph Ivanenok, Stony Point High School career and technical education teacher." (Round Rock ISD News)
  2. A joint venture between CP Capital and ZOM Living is set to build a modern suburban, multi-family apartment complex in the Avery Centre at the beginning of January 2023. Three hundred fifty-nine units will sit within a 1,200-acre, master-planned community. "The City of Round Rock, as part of its comprehensive plan, has stated that more than 6,000 units of housing will be developed by 2030."   3. Round Rock organizations and businesses are seeking volunteers to round out the rest of this year! Age of Central Texas WilCo Thrive Social & Wellness Center, Reset Mentoring, Williamson County Childrens Advocacy Center, United Way for Greater Austin, and several other local agencies and organizations also made the Community Impact Newspaper list.
  4. Round Rock Public Library will be closed Dec. 23-Jan. 28 for relocation of materials to its new, 66,000 sq. ft. building at 200 E. Liberty Ave. The new library will have meeting rooms, study spaces, dedicated space for children and teens, 286-spot parking garage and other community resources. "Round Rock residents who have library cards may apply for a TexShare library card at the RRPL service desk, which will allow them to borrow materials from other libraries."
