• 3 arrested in separate solicitation cases in Round Rock (kvue.com) — Round Rock police arrested three men in separate cases after reports of suspicious activity the week of Dec. 20, all involving alleged online solicitation of minors in city neighborhoods. The suspects, from Austin and Pflugerville, now face felony charges after being stopped on Logan Street and Deerfoot Drive during evening and early-morning calls.
   

• Investigation continues into double homicide at home near Round Rock (statesman.com) — A juvenile has been charged after two men were found shot to death early Saturday at a home on Brushy Gate Cove just outside Round Rock city limits. Williamson County deputies say the youth barricaded in a bedroom surrendered to SWAT hours later, and investigators believe the incident was isolated while the county attorney reviews the case.
   

• Talarico has raised $13 million for U.S. Senate bid (sanmarcosrecord.com) — Parts of Round Rock are represented in the Texas House by James Talarico, who has now raised $13 million in his bid for the U.S. Senate. His campaign highlights a large number of small-dollar donors, while rival Democrat Jasmine Crockett and several Republicans, including Sen. John Cornyn, are also gearing up for a competitive statewide race.
