Here are the top three stories in Round Rock today:
- From Aug. 22 to Oct. 4, Prete Main Street Plaza will be closed for routine maintenance and the building of a stage covering. During the closure, all plaza amenities, including the splash pad, will not be accessible. (City of Round Rock)
- At the latest Round Rock City Council meeting, the improvements to the Brushy Creek Regional Wastewater Treatment facility were discussed. Inspectors found 15 breaks so far and fixed all of them, making the water almost completely clear again. (KVUE)
- Amidst the recent uptick in book bannings, students across Texas have started forming book clubs to exercise their right to read.
