  1. Round Rock foodies: Crave Hot Dogs & BBQ is coming to town! The restaurant chain offers, "signature hot dogs, BBQ, and a self-pour beer wall experience." There's kids-eat-free nights, a self-pour beer wall also pours mixed drinks and cider, and there's themed activity nights such as ax throwing. Hot dogs can come with a hefty amount of toppings. We haven't heard of an official opening date yet, but RestaurantNews.com will have that information when the time comes.
  2. Police are searching for a man "with a lengthy criminal record." According to law enforcement, Percy Prejean, 44 is wanted for an aggravated robbery of a Circle K on A.W. Grimes. “He held the cashier at gunpoint and demanded cash and when the worker couldn’t get the cash fast enough, he fired a round off into the ceiling,” said Deputy U.S. Marshal Brandon Filla. Prejean has had more than 12 prior arrests for crimes of a similar nature. Check with KEYE TV CBS Austin for a description of the suspect.
  3. At the March 23 City Council meeting, a new mobility on demand service through zTrip for Round Rock was approved. Fares will range from $3-$5 with $2 reduced fares for seniors, veterans, and persons with disabilities. Operation hours are Monday-Friday from 6 a.m. - 8 p.m. and on Saturdays from 8 a.m. - 6 p.m. Wait times are expected to be between 12-15 minutes. All vehicles will be ADA-accessible and wheelchair compatible. Visit City of Round Rock for all of the details.
