Here are the top three stories today in Round Rock:
- Officers with the Round Rock Police Department arrested an armed robbery suspect early Monday morning. According to a tweet from the RRPD, the suspect was wanted in connection with a robbery at a convenience store on N.A.W. Grimes Boulevard earlier that morning. Police issued a local alert to stay indoors while officers searched for the suspect, who they eventually found in an area backyard. (KXAN.com)
- 13 students from Round Rock ISD walked the runway this weekend in their own designs during Austin Fashion Week. This school year, career and technical education fashion students have worked with Austin-based SHOP LC, a home shopping network. Students who win during next weekend's program finale will have the opportunity for their designs to be created by SHOP LC. (KXAN.com)
