Round Rock Area Teens Invited To Virtual Book Club Meeting
The Round Rock Public Library will host an online book club discussion on "The Giver" by Lois Lowry, for a chance to connect and engage.
ROUND ROCK, TX—Round Rock area teens are invited to a book club meeting to enjoy an afternoon reading and discussing the young adult dystopian novel, The Giver by Lois Lowry. The free online event is designed for ages 12-18 and is a great opportunity for youth to connect and stay engaged amid the pandemic.
The virtual event hosted by the Round Rock Public Library will host the book club on Tuesday, Nov. 17 at 5 p.m. Copies of the book will be available for library pick-up for all registered attendees, and further details will be sent via email from Teen Librarian Jane Dance. For parents, please note, the book club selections are chosen specifically for teens, however, parents are encouraged to review the content for appropriateness for his/her young adult.
