ROUND ROCK, TX—Round Rock residents are encouraged to take advantage of the City's scheduled Christmas Tree Recycling Event to dispose of your household's Christmas tree. The event will be held two consecutive Saturdays offering plenty of time for residents to participate.

Scheduled Saturday, Dec. 26 and Saturday, January 2 from 9 a.m. - 6 p.m., the Christmas tree recycling takes place at the Round Rock Brush Recycling Center located at 310 Deepwood Drive. The City will be giving away small tree seedlings for residents who bring their Christmas trees for recycling during these special events (100 per day/one per vehicle). Residents may also bring their Christmas trees for recycling to the Round Rock Brush Recycling Center during any regular operating day.

Residents are asked to please remove decorations, nails, wires, ornaments, tree stands, lights, and tingles prior to bring their tree to the recycling center. The recycled trees will be shred into fine, usable mulch which will be offered free to Round Rock residents for pickup at the recycling center. Mulch can also be purchased by contractors and non-residents for $5 per cubic yard.
