- Round Rock ISD district's rating is an 89, or B, "and its accreditation status has been fully restored." The Texas Education Agency placed the district's accreditation status under review in January. Superintendent Hafedh Azaiez was fairly confident that there would be no findings of wrongdoings, he did express the appreciation of the due diligence of the TEA by saying, "We know data-assurant systems like these are necessary to ensure fidelity to the state’s accountability system." - Updates you may have missed: A new fire station awaiting approval in the May bond measure could help response times with the bustling northeast sector of Round Rock. Upon the approval of $4.6 million of City of Round Rock funds to speed up brush collecting services, the grand total included a purchase of a wood chipper that can handle tree limbs up to 18 inches wide. - Many dogs and other pets are waiting to be adopted by their fur-ever families! Here's a few friendly faces that we found: Hazel is an adorable, big house trained German Shepherd. Cinderella is a friendly and loyal mixed breed dog with beautiful eyes. Nola is an adorable smaller chihuahua.
