- Round Rock girls' basketball started off rocky during the playoff game against Westlake. After a brief timeout and reality check from coach Doug Davalos, the Dragon girls pulled off a strategic 43-35 win with offensive play, hitting shots, and facilitating great defensive support. Senior guard Kate Hodges said the team “took a timeout, [coach Davalos] yelled at us for not doing what we were supposed to do, then we went out and played like we had prepared — that was about it.” Catch the rest of the story on Austin American-Statesman.
