Round Rock Library Invites Budding Poets To Virtual Workshop

ROUND ROCK, TX—Round Rock area residents are invited to take part in a Poetry Workshop for Beginners and tap into a new creative endeavor. If you're a writer of prose interested in writing in a new genre, the Friends of the Round Rock Public Library welcomes you to this virtual workshop.

Scheduled for Saturday, March 27 at 1:30 p.m., the workshop will be presented via Zoom with a link provided prior to the class. Participants will learn to craft elements of poetry writing including sensory details, imagery, metaphor, and wordplay. The class will offer the opportunity to begin a few drafts through exercises, which you can share aloud if inclined to do so.
