- Round Rock Pride will host its inaugural Round Rock Pride Festival next month. From 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., the community is invited to celebrate at Centennial Plaza downtown; further event details are forthcoming. Round Rock is among one of three Austin area suburbs to host its first LGBTQ+ Pride event in 2022. (KVUE.com)
- Texas is the fifth-cheapest state in which to purchase a home, according to a new study by Rocket Mortgage. The mortgage company weighed several factors, including median household income and the cost of living index, in the study. Despite statewide lows, however, house prices in the Austin-Round Rock metro have skyrocketed over the past year, reaching an average of $450,000 as of March 2022. (Spectrum News)
