Here are the top stories in Round Rock today:
- Round Rock High School remains the champs over their rivalry with Westwood High School. Noted as an anticipated 'Game of the Week', the final score that Round Rock tipped over Westwood was 52-7 — Way to go, Round Rock High School! A little friendly competition is always a good thing! Throughout the games with Westwood, Round Rock maintained winning scores by at least 29 points per game. (FOX 7 Austin)
- The Round Rock Honey bee keepers informed their hives of Queen Elizabeth’s recent passing. This is actually a centuries-old tradition! Round Rock Honey said, "The royal hives must be kept informed about major events involving their master." This superstition is carried out as people believe that if you don't, that the bees may leave the hive or no longer produce honey...And that definitely seems worth believing in superstition if you're in the position Round Rock Honey is in! (KXAN)
- From Austin to Round Rock, the housing market is continuing to stabilize. Round Rock is currently getting caught up on the three month inventory listings however, is still short of the six months worth of inventory to be considered a truly healthy housing market. (KXAN)

- It was National Thank a Police Officer Day yesterday and there are some really sweet and encouraging messages that you can read here, coming from citizens and their experiences with our local law enforcement. Round Rock Police Department thanks locals for being a pleasure to serve and hope that this bond-building can continue as a community!
- Got any plans for Saturday, September 24th? It's going to be Public Safety Day and this four hour event will take place at Centennial Plaza. This event is family friendly and starts at 9 a.m. We heard there's going to be some of our daily, local heroes there to chat and take photos with, as well as other fun things to entertain the kids with!
- Round Rock Public Library's current theme is #fREADom. They are big proponents of being there so that people CAN read what they want, while also being in complete opposition to having books removed from their local library. Thankfully, about 71% of voters agreed! Let's keep reading a healthy, open, and fun habit ya'll! (Round Rock Public Library via Facebook)
