- Many small businesses in the U.S. are having trouble hiring employees. A study found that in Texas, 30.5 percent of small businesses are having a hard time hiring workers, which was about the national average for the month of April. The metro area of Austin-Round Rock-Georgetown ranked fifth for all metro areas, with 42.1 percent of small businesses having trouble hiring workers in the month of April. (Vermont Biz)
- Round Rock Express baseball player and father of two, Nick Tanielu, visited new dads at St. David's Round Rock Medical Center for Father's Day. Tanielu delivered Round Rock Express onesies and caps for babies, signed baseballs given to parents, and invited families to attend a Round Rock Express game. (KVUE)
