  1. According to the Austin Board of Realtors (ABoR), the Austin-Round Rock area housing market is getting back "to pre-COVID normalcy." The housing market for the Austin-Round Rock Metropolitan Statistical Area is slowing due to increased inventory and decreased residential home sales, according to new data. The area saw a 20.3 percent year-over-year decrease in residential home sales last month for a total of 3,441 closed sales. (KVUE)
  2. On Jul. 18, fire crews from 14 agencies, including Round Rock Fire Department, worked to contain a 90-acre grass fire. The fire broke out off of County Road 220 in Florence and was put out by crews. No homes or businesses were affected, and no injuries were reported. (KVUE)
