Here are the top three stories today in Round Rock:
- After being treated at a local hospital, 41-year-old Brandon Louis Marshall was arrested and taken to Williamson County jail. On Wednesday night, Marshall was injured in a shootout with police in Round Rock. Marshall faces multiple charges including evading arrest, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, driving while intoxicated, and possession of a firearm by a felon. His bond is set at $92,000. (KXAN)
- The Round Rock Fire Department is accepting donations of fans from the community through Aug. 31. As temperatures continue to rise, RRFD said the fan donations "will provide relief to seniors, adults with disabilities, and families in need." (FOX 7 Austin)
