- The Round Rock Public Library is hosting another Scholastic Book Fair from Jul. 11 to Jul. 14. Book purchases help support the Summer Reading Program. There is also a larger selection at the Online Scholastic Book Fair. (City of Round Rock)
- Round Rock ISD student, 12-year-old Asvini Thivakaran, is a finalist for "America's Top Young Scientist." Thivakaran will compete against nine other finalists in the 2022 3M Young Scientist Challenge at the 3M Innovation Center in Minneapolis on Oct. 17 and 18. (KXAN)
