Here are the top three stories today in Round Rock:

  1. On Jun. 3, the Round Rock Police Department identified the man involved in an assault at Hooters, located at 2700 South IH-35, in May. The man punched another customer several times and then left the restaurant. Police have shared a picture of the suspect and ask the public to contact Detective Montorello at rmontorello@roundrocktexas.gov or 512-218-5500 with any information. (Fox 7 Austin)
  2. On Jun. 4, Round Rock held its first LGBTQ+ Pride Festival at Centennial Plaza. Hundreds of people filled the plaza for the inaugural Pride Festival. Round Rock Pride founder Richard Parson said, "I am so proud that I have a community that came together because not only the LGBTQ community came together, the entire Round Rock community [came together]."   3. Yesterday, the Texas Rangers announced multiple roster moves. Outfielder Steele Walker contract selected from Triple-A Round Rock, Infielder Andy Ibáñez optioned to Triple-A Round Rock, and Outfielder Willie Calhoun who is currently on option at Triple-A Round Rock was designated for assignment.
