- Round Rock ISD will host an in-person meeting on April 3 on fentanyl awareness. "Local specialists and District officials will share information and then take as many questions as possible from attendees and community members at Raymond E. Hartfield Performing Arts Center." If parents cannot attend, the meeting can be livestreamed or watched via a recorded version. Round Rock ISD has more details.
- Members of the Business Climate Council brought the Round Rock Chamber’s State Legislative Priorities to the Texas state Capitol on March 1. Among items discussed: House Bill 5, "which would provide communities with critical economic development tools to create additional jobs, investments and tax revenue," and House Bill 8, which would establish "a new funding model for community colleges in Texas."
