  1. Round Rock Police apprehended a suspect who stole a vehicle Wednesday night. The incident began around 9:45 p.m. and ended around 1:20 a.m on A.W. Grimes and Gattis School Road. Austin Police assisted with a helicopter, which is "standard procedure for a suspect search on foot." Round Rock Police are still searching for the passenger who was with the suspect. Check back with KEYE TV CBS Austin for updates.
  2. Round Rock Public Library is moving to a new and much larger building than its current location, starting Dec. 23. You can find helpful details on the City of Round Rock website on how to check out digital works while physical material is not available, hours of operation, and when you can visit the new city library.
  3. Round Rock Police are asking for your help on a porch pirate incident that occurred in October. The police are reminding citizens that crimes like this are very common, especially during the holiday season, and are recommending having your packages mailed to the police department for safekeeping until you can pick them up.
