Lions Krav Maga invites neighbors to a community workout to help raise critical funds for Austin's Foundation for the Homeless.
ROUND ROCK, TX—Round Rock neighbors are invited to a community workout event ahead of Thanksgiving to help raise critical funds for Austin's Foundation for the Homeless. 2020 has been a challenging year for many in our communities, and the homeless community face an especially trying time ahead of the holidays.
Thanksgiving Community Workout for a Cause is scheduled on Wednesday, Nov. 25 from 6:15 p.m. - 7:30 p.m., and is an opportunity to come together to help make a difference in the lives of those most heavily impacted by the pandemic. Lions Krav Maga will offer a special 75 minute kickboxing workout, and no experience is necessary and is open to the community.
Tickets are a $10 donation with all profits benefitting the Foundation for the Homeless. If temperatures reach 55 degrees or over, the workout will be held in the open air with space for social distancing. If inclement weather, participants will workout indoors with masks required. The workout will also be live-streamed via Zoom for those interested in joining from home.
