Top Tech Trends For 2021 Lend Insight On Innovation
The Austin Forum will host the annual event online to explore top tech trends to expect in the year ahead, and discuss their impact.
ROUND ROCK, TX—The Austin Forum on Technology & Society invites the community to learn about Top Tech Trends for 2021 with a virtual event to discuss the rapid advances of technology and its impact on innovation and productivity. The online event will feature discussions centered on the ways technology shapes industries and eduction, enhances our personal and professional lives, and changes--mostly for the better--our society and lives.
As part of their annual "Top Tech Trends" event, participants will have an opportunity to explore what's coming next, as Jay Boisseau and Jay Williams again summarize what analysts are predicting for the year ahead and what technologies they think will have the most impact and influence in our lives and society in 2021 (and beyond).
Scheduled on Tuesday, Jan. 5 from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m., they'll share data, dive into a few examples, and offer predictions--and some suggestions for what to pay attention to, learn, and adopt in 2021. Guest participation is welcomed and encouraged, and participants may email questions, answers and prognostications in advance. The Zoom session invites participants to join as "doors open" at 6 p.m. and there will be a Slack channel and email for help connecting. Admission to the Austin Forum monthly events is always free and open to everyone!

Since the events are no online, please let organizers know via the ‘chat’ window during the event if you have devices to donate. All devices will have a factory reset and be set up as new by the team at Austin Pathways’ nationally-recognized “Unlocking the Connection” initiative, which will connect every public housing resident with a digital device, digital literacy, and a free or very low-cost internet connection. Your donated devices can change lives and help close Austin’s digital divide, thanks to Austin Pathways.
