Virtual Film Screening, Panelists Raise Awareness About Anxiety
Round Rock ISD hosts a virtual screening of the film Angst, exploring anxiety with an emphasis on its impact on youth and families.
ROUND ROCK, TX—Round Rock families are invited to a virtual screening and a panel discussion for the film Angst, hosted by Round Rock ISD Counseling Services. Join panelists Dr. LaShanda Lewis, District Coordinator of Counseling Services, Round Rock ISD; April Travis, Middle School Counselor; and Mae Grant, School Counselor, Double File Trail Elementary for an insightful discussion on the film Angst, a film-based education program designed to raise awareness around anxiety, with an emphasis on youth and families.
Angst features interviews with kids, teens, experts, and parents, and is designed to help individuals and families identify and better understand the symptoms associated with anxiety, and encourage them to reach out for help. The virtual screening takes place Tuesday, March 9 at 6 p.m., and is followed by the panel discussion which will include access to further resources and materials.
