A woman claiming to be the girl's mom updated residents on a Facebook neighborhood page titled People of Round Rock late Wednesday night, suggesting the girl was not in danger. The woman, Trina Moore, posted a screenshot of the girl taken during a Snapchat video in the hopes someone might recognize her and alert to her whereabouts.

"We have learned she is at a boy’s house and the parents do not know she is there," the woman wrote. "We are pretty sure she is not abducted at this point. She is a troubled girl, and we just want her home."

The woman added that the girl might be in a neighborhood near Brushy Creek Park/Sutter Creek Trail/Hillside Drive.

In a separate tweet, the sheriff's office said the girl was last seen wearing a green hoodie while carrying a Victorian doll and black backpack with a blue suitcase. She has long brown hair, according to the sheriff's office. The fuller description was tweeted by the sheriff on Sunday, according to a time stamp, even as a subsequent tweet indicated the girl had not been seen since Tuesday. It's unclear why a chronological inconsistency exists between the two tweets.
