WilCo Offices Closed In Observance Of MLK Day
Residents can avail themselves of online services offered by various departments, and the animal shelter will offer $3 pet adoptions.
WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TX — Williamson County offices will be closed on Monday in observance of the Martin Luther King Jr. Day holiday, officials announced.
While county offices are closed, it is highly recommended residents consider utilizing the online services offered by various departments. To access the latest information from each department, please visit www.wilco.org.
The next Commissioners Court meeting is scheduled for next Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. in the courtroom on the second floor of the historic courthouse, located at 710 S. Main St. in Georgetown, Texas.

The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter, located at 1855 S.E. Inner Loop in Georgetown, will be open on MLK Jr. Day from noon to 6 p.m. The shelter will kick off an adoption special Friday that will run through Monday. During those dates, large adult dogs and adult cats can be adopted for $3. All adoptable pets are listed online at the Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter website. Interested adopters should send an email to adoption@wilco.org to set up an appointment. The shelter is operating on an appointment-only basis.
