Williamson County Hosts Free COVID-19 Testing For The Community

TDEM hosts a no cost drive thru COVID-19 testing site at Texas State University Round Rock several days a week.

ROUND ROCK, TX—Williamson County residents will be able to receive free COVID-19 testinghosted by the Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM), and in coordination with Texas State University Round Rock. Testing will be conducted on Mondays through Thursdays and the second Saturday of each month through April 30, 2021 from 10 a.m. through 6 p.m., or while supplies last.

Individuals need not be experiencing symptoms to test, and no insurance is required to receive a test. The drive-up site will not require appointments prior to testing, however, pre-registration is encouraged. Individuals should bring a cell phone for on-site registration, and due to demand you may experience a wait time. Individual's test results will be available three to five days following testing, and the COVID-19 testing site is free and open to all Texans, whether they reside in Williamson County or elsewhere.

The drive thru testing site is located at Texas State University Round Rock located at 1555 University Boulevard, Round Rock, TX 78665.
