Winter Storm Update: Round Rock Sets Up Temporary Warming Center

The warming and power recharge center for Round Rock residents is located at the Baca Center, and is designed to offer temporary assistance.

ROUND ROCK, TX—The City of Round Rock announced Tuesday of a temporary warming center for area residents experiencing power outages due to the statewide winter weather emergency. The Baca Center located at 301 W. Bagdad Ave. is a temporary warming and power recharge center, and no pets are allowed at the facility.

Residents in need of temporary assistance are asked to bring their own food, water, blankets and outerwear, and chargers. The warming centers are not set up to extended or overnight stays, as the facility is also subject to service interruptions and power loss.
