- A woman was tased and safely taken into custody, when she failed to comply with Round Rock Police officers' commands after exiting a reportedly stolen vehicle. This incident began at 8:11 a.m. and ended at 8:41 a.m. around the northbound lanes of IH-35 near Kia of Round Rock. The woman was taken to a hospital for an evaluation. (KXAN)
- Representative James Talarico, D-Round Rock, filed HJR 56, to put abortion access on the ballot next November, following suit behind Kansas, Michigan, and Vermont, states that "enshrined abortion rights in their constitutions." Read more on this bill and what it could mean, on Spectrum News.
- "Major road projects in Round Rock [are] planned to ease traffic and add capacity" for our rapidly growing city. Lane expansion for University Boulevard has been in the works for years and is in its final stages. Other major projects include: Kenney Fort Boulevard, Gattis School Road and Highway 79.
