• Schertz PD seeks tips into murder of businessman on Christmas Eve in 2015 (ksat.com) — Schertz police are renewing their call for tips in the unsolved Christmas Eve 2015 killing of local businessman Henry Gutierrez Jr., found shot at his home on FM 3009. Investigators, including state and federal partners, are still working leads, and Guadalupe County Crime Stoppers is offering up to $75,000 for information that leads to an arrest and indictment.
