Houston Area High School Football: Week 9 Scores And Highlights

Check the scores and see if your team won this week, and follow your favorite teams to the state championship with Patch.

HOUSTON, TX — There's only one more week left of the high school football season, and a number of local teams are looking forward to the playoffs. Among those teams are the Atascocita Eagles who easily defeated the Pasadena Eagles 77-0 on Thursday night.

In other Thursday games, College Park defeated Klein Cain 48-22, Pearland Dawson fell to Alief Hastings 55-7, and Dulles topped Elkins 22-21.

Friday night football kicked off at 6:30 p.m., with Seven Lakes taking on Morton Ranch in a key district matchup. In that contest, Morton Ranch easily defeated Seven Lakes 34-14. State Champion Cy-Fair continued its winning streak and defeated Cy-Ridge 20-6. In annother key district matchup, the Dobie Longhorns, who have their eye on the playoffs, defeated the South Houston Trojans 24-20.

In other Friday night action, the Tomball Cougars lost 21-0 to the College Station Cougars, Conroe Defeated Klein Forest 48-44, and Alief Hastings defeatred Pearland Dawson 55-7. The action continued with Channelview defeating La Porte 52-14, St. Johns falling to Kinkaid 28-6, andCE King defeating Sterling 56-6.

There are a few key Saturday matchups to, with Cinco Ranch hosting Tompkins in an early 11 a.m. game, followed by a 1 p.m. game with Fort Bend Marshall hosting Northside. In other Saturday games, Milby takes on Waltrip, Sam Rayburn hosts Summer Creek, and Humble hosts Kingwood.
