• Bastrop woman arrested, charged in downtown Austin bus stop shooting (statesman.com) — A woman wanted in a deadly downtown Austin bus stop shooting was arrested along Interstate 45 in Spring and booked into the Montgomery County Jail on a murder charge. She’s awaiting extradition to Travis County. Residents may notice increased law-enforcement activity tied to this case but the incident itself occurred in Austin, not locally.
