Clintons Suspend National Tour To Attend President Bush Funeral
An Evening with the Clintons tour planned for Sugar Land this week has been postponed so the Clintons can attend President Bush's funeral.
SUGAR LAND, TX -- Former President Bill Clinton, and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton have canceled a planned appearance in Sugar Land on Tuesday, to attend the funeral of former President George H.W. Bush.
The former first couple had a planned stop in Sugar Land as part of their nationwide tour, "An Evening with the Clintons."
The Clinton's, who were in the White House from 1992 to 2000 between both Bush presidencies, were to appear at the Smart Financial Centre.

Officials with the Smart Financial Centre issued the following statement:
"Due to the passing of President George H.W. Bush, the event at the Smart Financial Centre in Sugar Land on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 featuring President and Secretary Clinton is being re-scheduled. President and Secretary Clinton will instead travel to Washington D.C. to pay their respects to President Bush and his family. The new date will be announced once confirmed. "
