Sugar Land Robbery Thwarted By Frightened Cashier

2 robbers left a Walgreens Store empty-handed after scaring the cashier so badly she couldn't open the cash register.

SUGAR LAND, TX — Two men who tried to rob a Sugar Land Walgreens store on Dec. 21 are still on the run after getting away empty handed.

Sugar Land police said two men wearing hoodies came into the Walgreens on State Highway 6 shortly after 10 p.m. The cashier told Sugar Land police the men approached her counter with a box of cookies.

During the transaction, both men pulled handguns and demanded cash from the register. The panicked cashier was unable to open the register and ran toward the back of the store for help. The two men fled the store without any cash.

Both men were described as black. One was about 5-feet-8 and about 180 pounds. He had a beard and was wearing a black jacket with a hood, black Adidas pants and black Crocs.

The second man had lighter skin. He was about 5-feet-6 and about 145 pounds. He was wearing white-washed jeans that were ripped, dark shoes and a hooded jacket.
