• The Power of the Health Care Foundation's Snowflakes (ksstradio.com) — In Sulphur Springs, the Hopkins County Health Care Foundation’s long-running Snowflake Campaign is again raising money for CHRISTUS Mother Frances Hospital – Sulphur Springs, this year to buy a blanket warmer for the expanded surgical wing. Recent snowflake donations have funded an ICU bed, handwashing training station, and cooling tents that directly support patients, athletes, and community health across Hopkins County.
   

• Basketball Recap: Braswell's Run of Five Straight Victories Now Over (maxpreps.com) — Local hoops fans may note that Braswell’s recent five-game win streak included a decisive 83-48 home victory over Sulphur Springs on December 11. That run ended with a 48-40 loss at Anna, where standout performances from Noah Foster and Keshawn Myles powered the Coyotes. Both teams have already bounced back with wins in subsequent games.
