- Denise Cabello of the travel and lifestyle show, "Yolo TX", toured three new businesses in downtown Victoria. She explored Peaches & Tortillas, a mercantile boutique that has more than 20 vendors under its roof, Mother Cluckers, a huge marketplace with more than 60 vendors, and El Paso Tacos & Tequilla, a family-owned Mexican foods restaurant. - AlphaLab is now offering diabetic-friendly shakes and teas at both of its Victoria, TX, locations. Miranda Torres, the owner, has created a variety of health-promoting libations in an effort to circumvent and offset her diabetes. The concoctions cost $9 per 32 oz bottle and are available in more than 50 different flavors. (Ground News)
- The Christopher Family Vinyard, of Goliad, has played a part in the history of Victoria by helping the area develop its grape and wine industries. Growing conditions in Texas are said to have been hostile to many varieties of wine grapes. Blanc-du-Soleil is one that finds a home in Texas. (Ground News)

- Get your wide brimmed hat and your sunscreen and head out for a walk through the Victoria Farmers Market. The popular and colorful venue will take place from 9:00a.m. to 1:00p.m. at the Pattie Dodson Health Center. - Bring your kids out to the Backpack School Supply Drive to pick up some absolutely free supplies needed to head back to school this fall.
