- A Victoria man has been found guilty of indecency with a child by sexual contact. Antonio Jesus Flores was indicted in December 2022, and his trail ran from Monday, Jun. 12 to Wednesday, Jun. 14. Flores was fined and will have to register as a sex offender. (Crossroads Today)
- In case you missed it, the City of Victoria and Victoria County Office of Emergency Management shared advice for how residents can prepare for hurricanes this season. Residents should ensure they have proper insurance coverage, and evacuation routes should be identified in advance of an incoming storm. In case of an evacuation, residents are advised to take supplies with them due to potential supply chain disruptions. For residents planning to shelter in place, it is advised to have five to seven days worth of nonperishable food, water, and medications. (City of Victoria, TX)
- Victoria Parks and Recreation has announced an upcoming Dodgeball Tournament. The double-elimination tournament will be held on Friday, Jun. 23 at 7:00 p.m. at the Community Center Annex.
